Workshop Details

Massed Ringing

An opportunity for all groups to ring together under Kevin's direction. Joint Mass Ringing and two separate levels of Repertoire. See the Registration for for details.


Classes for Tins will be offered while Coppers are rehearsing with Kevin and Classes for Coppers will be offered during Tins rehearsals.

Many opportunities to expand your skills as a handbell ringer or director. 

Online Sign-up for classes will begin immediately after Early Bird Registration is complete.

Tins may choose from the following classes:

 Beginning Conducting


 Let it Go (Weaving)

 The Beat Goes On (Rhythm)

 Beginning Four-in-Hand

 Looking Good (Visual Presentation)

 Hit It! (Mallets)

 How do I do That? (Tackling Trouble Spots)

 Reading Session

Coppers may choose from the following classes:

 Advanced Conducting

 All About That Bass (Bass Bells)

 Solo and Small Ensemble

 The Beat Goes On (Mixed Meter)

 Advanced Four-in-Hand

Two Levels of Ringing

This year, in addition to two massed ringing pieces, we are offering two levels of repertoire to better accommodate all of the diverse groups that attend our workshop. Tins: Level 1+ to 2+ music

Coppers: Level 3- to 3+/4. The Joint Massed ringing: Level 2+-3.  Comfort and Challenge for all!!

Palmetto Bronze will construct a workshop especially for your group

Are you just starting out and need some help? Do you need special help on certain techniques? Want to jump start your season? An on-site workshop tailored to your needs might be just what you are looking for. Fees depend on length of workshop and number of Palmetto Bronze ringers needed to do the workshop.

What we can do with your group

Techniques, musicality, bell changes, sight reading skills, mallets, 4 in hand/Shelley (beginning or advanced), bass bells, or we can work on your own repertoire.
